All of these events are often taught at The HIVE and are open to the community at-large. We also offer them in businesses, college/university groups, neighborhood groups, non-profit organizations, and religious organizations.
We’ve held our classes at places like The Greensboro Montessori School, Americorps Statewide Summit, The Center for New North Carolinians, UNCG Sustainability Groups, Reading Connections, RTI International, just to name a few.
Cooking Classes
One of the easiest ways to experiment with new ingredients or techniques is to participate in a cooking class. Our approach is hand’s on and fun! We encourage seasoned cooks as well as beginners to do one or more of these as there is always something to learn. Massage Classes
While SHC offers therapeutic massage, we find that individuals are able to take that healing much further when they incorporate massage techniques into their daily life. Read more.

We offer a myriad of types of classes catered to the needs of an office or organization. This means we target common struggles our clients talk about and educate you with strategies that will strengthen the work you do and help you work from a grounded space. Read more.
Community Clinics
SHC is located in The HIVE Community Center, and we firmly believe in providing education and alternative health care at financially accessible rates. The clinic is one way we maintain accountability to the community, both in the Glenwood neighborhood specifically and in Greensboro. Read more.
