Health Coaching

At SHC we are your personal advocate for living an energized and passionate life. Whatever your concerns are, our job is to help you find which food and lifestyle choices will work best for you and the life you desire. When diet changes, everything changes.

In addition to looking at how you are nourishing yourself with food, we will look at how other factors in your life are affecting your eating, including your relationships, your physical activity and your career. We will work with you to help you find balance in these areas of your life to help you achieve balance overall.

What will the health counseling program be like?

During your personalized health coaching program, our goal will be to improve your health and create sustainable changes in your life. We will work together to find the right foods for your body and the right balance in all areas of your life to support your health. This unique approach provides meaningful, lasting results because it is based only on you, not on one prescribed diet or nutrition theory.

All of the 4-Month Individual Programs include

  • Two, 40-minute sessions a month (on the phone, skype or in person), including food counseling, easy cooking, recipes, suggestions for cravings, lifestyle changes to support your health and more.
  • E-mail support between sessions.
  • Handouts and other educational materials.

At this point you have probably tried a variety of diets and may even had some success for a period of time. However, most likely these changes did not last the test of time. Our expertise helps you to figure out what works best for you by gradually introducing new ideas so that they are more integrated into your lifestyle.
